"We’ve traveled to Cancun several times and decided to give this hotel a try for something new. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made while traveling.
Shortly after unpacking on our first day, we noticed bugs crawling across the floor and quickly realized they were cockroaches. We immediately contacted the front desk, frustrated and concerned, especially since we were traveling with a baby.
The hotel offered to move us, but the new room was directly upstairs from the original room where we found the roaches. Because of this, we never felt comfortable fully unpacking our baby’s belongings or relaxing during our stay, knowing there were cockroaches in the area.
Management did not handle the situation well, and overall the experience was extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving 4 days early because we no longer felt comfortable staying at the hotel.
Very disappointed overall and would not return."

"I loved the 24/7 room service amenity and the fridge included amenity. Staff is excellent food was really good. The rooms need maintenance though especially the bathrooms the mirrors are roasted and faucet as well. But other than that I loved this hotel and the customers service was excellent with an exception of a bar tender that seem to be the there doing his job so miserable didn’t get his name though, but that’s it. The rest of the staff really nice and helpful."
"We try and go every year we love the palace. The only downfall is the entertainment at night. It’s OK not the greatest. It’s supposed to be at least an hour. It’s only half an hour. Just wish it was like other resorts with professional entertainment, I’m also gluten-free not many options for gluten-free that was a disappointment, especially nowadays with all the variety. Other than that we’ll be there again next year we meet up with friends that we met back in 2024 I’ve been going ever since."
