"We loved staying here ! There was legit something planned activity wise every hour for families, adults , kids! Staff was amazing !! They cleaned the room and changed bedding everyday! Amazing views. We stayed there from April 22nd and tended to leave 27th but we loved it so much we extended until the 2nd so what was supposed to be 5 nights turned into 10 nights! We are exploring different countries each year but this will be a resort we travel back to for sure!"
"Excellent service and dining, with one room issue. Overall, The Grand delivered many of the things we hoped for from a five-star resort: polished service, strong dining, beautiful spaces, and a team that genuinely cared. Service was a highlight - every team member was respectful, warm, and professional. Julio at the pool was exceptional: attentive without being overbearing, thoughtful in the small details, and clearly proud of his work. The dining was also excellent. Le Château was one of the best meals we have had while travelling: well-paced service, beautifully prepared food, and an elevated experience. The circus-themed restaurant was a standout for our kids, with performances, colourful presentation, and table-side touches that made it a 10/10 experience for them. Across the resort, the food quality was well above the typical all-inclusive standard. The main issue was our room’s air conditioning. Our room stayed around 25°C, and although maintenance responded quickly and professionally, the issue continued. Over 2 nights, staff came to our room multiple times between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. trying to resolve it, which made it difficult for our family. To the resort’s credit, a room change was offered the day before we left, but it was our only full day remaining and moving rooms was not practical with two young kids. A fan was later provided, which helped. Overall, many parts of our stay were excellent. The experience would have been stronger should the AC issue been resolved"
"Very disappointed with our stay. The food was extremely bland and honestly didn’t taste anything like what it was supposed to. The variety was just average, and unfortunately the quality didn’t make up for it.
The restaurants also seemed very understaffed. It took a long time just to get seated, which made dining frustrating throughout the trip.
One of the biggest concerns was safety. I personally saw a woman fall through part of the flooring near the adults-only pool on the 6th floor, which was very alarming and raised serious concerns about the condition and maintenance of the property.
The main pool with the swim-up bar was also much too small for a resort of this size and felt overcrowded most of the time.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations at all, and I left very disappointed with the experience. I would not choose to stay here again."
